Co-op Local Community Fund is now open for grant applications. The grants focus on:
Enable people to access food and co-operate together to feed everyone
Community Fridges, Cooking lessons/clubs, Holiday or breakfast clubs
Allotment or community gardens, community transport schemes, upskilling communities around nutrition
Offer young people opportunities to develop new skills and make a difference in their community
Employability skills courses
Youth forums or groups, enhancing education skills
Projects involving intergenerational skill sharing, young people learning essential life skills
Help improve people's mental wellbeing
Emotional wellbeing support sessions, building social connections
Sports activities, bereavement projects
Mental health support and services
To be eligible, you must have one of the following:
Your organisations charity, HMRC or equivalent registration number OR a constitutional document proving it's a not-for-profit group.
Applications are made on Co-operate online community centre. This platform will allow you to apply to the local community fund, and promote your group on Co-operate and offer support beyond the funding.
