£100,000 funding is available to spend on community projects that will make local improvements to a Community Neighbourhood area in Newham. The Community Assembly programme launched last month and since then the top priorities have been voted on and chosen for each Community Neighbourhood. We are now looking for residents and the community to apply for funding and submit ideas for exciting projects that will help address at least one of these local priorities. Total funding of
£30,000 is available for local residents to submit project proposals and
£70,000 is available for Voluntary, Community and Faith sector partners to submit proposals.
All project proposals will be reviewed by your local Community Assembly Working Group. Projects which meet the spending criteria will be announced on the Newham Co-create platform and will go forward for wider voting in the summer. Voluntary, Community and Faith sector organisations can apply for up to £20,000 funding for a single community project to make improvements in a chosen community neighbourhood. For more information please visit the Newham Co-create platform The deadline to submit an initial project proposal is 15 June 2021. If you require assistance with using the platform or for more information about the process, please contact your local Community Neighbourhood team.
