Take a look, take pride, take action
Over 180 community & organisation representatives joined us for a day of inspiration, collaboration, and action as we explored key themes shaping Newham’s communities.
Connecting Generations can offer solutions to issues that affect young as well as older people. We delivered inter-generational issues and looked at how communities in Newham can support people of all ages.
Connecting Health & Wellbeing builds the foundation for everyone to thrive. We showcased innovative community health and wellbeing projects, offering practical ways to get involved and build partnerships that make a real difference.
Connecting Places is essential to create a sense of belonging in a London borough shaped by transience and housing challenges. We explored how voluntary action can help people put down roots and build meaningful connections across Newham.
Connecting Communities help unite people and their organisations within Newham’s richly diverse landscape. We presented community and faith-based projects from which everyone can learn as a way of building a more inclusive network that can engage us all and make a lasting impact.
Throughout the conference, the overarching theme was Collaboration, with the aim of inspiring everyone to work more closely together across all aspects of our work.
Through thought-provoking talks, engaging conversations and hands-on workshops, this conference challenged and inspired!
There was also an opportunity to explore the marketplace stalls to connect with projects, organisations and resources to help participants take action.
Together we celebrated Newham’s diversity, tackled challenges and built a stronger, more connected community.
